Give Me Five

This was a routine that I used whilst on Professional Practice 2. When children were expected to stop what they were doing and listen to me they knew the expectation that they were to meet. Depending upon how promptly and well children responded to this depended upon whether they were rewarded or sanctioned.

By the end of the placement, all children understood the expectation when I said ‘Give Me Five’ and all children responded well to this routine.
